I’m excited to be joining Marshall and the PTA this year as the parliamentarian. My daughter Charlie is a 6th grader, and her brother Zack is a freshman at St. Andrew’s. Prior to COVID, I spent several years on the PTA board at Lee Elementary, and I’m glad to have the opportunity to serve again. I’ve been the dean of students at the law school at UT for more than a dozen years, and I’m a Sunday School teacher at St. David’s Episcopal Church downtown. My husband Brent Landau teaches religious studies at UT.  

Hi all! I am on the PTA board as secretary this year. My son Mattias is entering 7th grade at Marshall and my daughter Meredith will be a sophomore at McCallum. I spend my days as a preschool teacher. I love to read and run in my free time. I'm looking forward to the year ahead and am excited to see how the PTA can continue to support the Marshall community. 

Hey y'al! My name is Matt Bowers and I am helping lead our membership efforts on the PTA this year. My oldest son, Samson, is a 7th-grader here, and we live just a few blocks from the school. When I'm not bugging you to join the PTA - you should join! - I am a professor over at UT where I lead the Sport Management program. I'm excited to see a full General Marshall Middle School this year with all three grades represented for the first time ever! 

Hi! I'm Gabi and I'll be serving as Fund Raising Chair this year. My daughter, Liliana is in 7th grade. We enjoy swimming, board games, and ice cream! I'm looking forward to the PTA growing this year so that we can support all of the amazing educators and students at General Marshall MS.
